Yuchen/Winston Bai is a summer student at Ross Nasseri LLP. Winston has a broad interest in civil, regulatory, and commercial litigation.
During law school, Winston developed strong research and writing skills through his participation in the Hicks Morley Moot and his volunteer work with Pro Bono Students Canada through the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers Community Outreach Program. He also co-founded the University of Toronto Chinese Law Student Society and served as its President, where he organized networking and career events connecting students with members of the legal profession.
Winston brings practical legal experience from his work as a Legal Assistant at both boutique and international law firms, including Jiang Legal Professional Corporation, Beijing Dentons Law Firm, AllBright Law Offices, and Shanghai Haiyan Law Firm. In these roles, he assisted with a variety of civil and commercial litigation matters, including cross-border disputes, commercial lease disputes, and international trade cases.
Prior to law school, Winston graduated from the University of Toronto with an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, where he was awarded the Drew Thompson Scholarships. During his undergraduate studies, Winston worked as a Research Assistant with the Post Conflict Reintegration Lab and contributed to conflict dataset research for the published book Wars Without End.
