Areas of Practice

Jake is a litigator at Ross Nasseri. He is establishing a broad civil and regulatory practice.

Before joining Ross Nasseri, Jake summered, articled and practiced as an associate at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg. During his time there he acted for a broad range of corporate and individual clients in complex commercial disputes across multiple practice areas including contractual disputes, class actions, tax and securities litigation.

Jake received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2022, where he graduated with Distinction. Jake developed and honed his advocacy skills during his time as a Caseworker for Downtown Legal Services, where he represented clients before the Ontario Court of Justice. He also acted as co-president of the Business Law Society.

Prior to attending law school, Jake completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance at McGill University, where he was named to the Dean’s Honour List and graduated with the highest GPA in the Accounting faculty.

  • Acted as counsel for several individual and corporate respondents in a multi-million dollar family dispute regarding ownership of corporate assets, including allegations of fraud and oppression

  • 1330 Gerard Inc. v Riverdale Immigrant Women Enterprises, 2025 ONSC 2451; Successfully obtained mandatory injunctive relief preventing damage to a commercial property
