Ross Nasseri’s partnership is significantly strengthened by welcoming Adriana Forest-Clarke, Anna Madsen, and Daniel Milton to the fold. Each of these three exceptional lawyers have become indispensable members of our firm and highly respected advocates in the Ontario bar.
Adriana runs a true barrister’s practice – she can litigate any dispute in any forum with skill and tact. Her case list has included complex oppression and contract disputes, sensitive internal investigations, medical negligence and health law related files, and intentional tort cases. She has appeared before arbitrators, administrative tribunals, all levels of court in Ontario, and twice before the Supreme Court of Canada. She recently intervened on behalf of the Ontario Medical Association in a medical negligence case at the Supreme Court of Canada (Hemmings v Padmore) on the heels of completing a two-week malicious prosecution action at the Superior Court (SRC v SYS). Adriana also has recent experience acting in workplace investigations and judicial review proceedings.
Anna has emerged one of the leading young litigators in the country. She has an uncanny ability to process very complex cases and distill her client’s position into simple and persuasive arguments. Anna has built a niche expertise in advising on and acting in high net worth family commercial/estates disputes. Her achievements at Ross Nasseri LLP include acting as lead counsel on 6 major arbitrations, securing a $3.5 million award at ODACC for an infrastructure construction client, and acting for a national organization at the Federal Court of Appeal on an appeal of a CRTC Order against online streaming companies.
Daniel has developed a reputation as a masterful litigation strategist and ‘client whisperer’. Institutional clients and professionals flock to him for his sage advice and ability to navigate highly complex and sensitive disputes. Daniel has an enviable client list that includes major developers, tech entrepreneurs, healthcare companies, board members of publicly traded companies, and mortgage firms. He is frequently in court and his victories include defeating a will challenge with allegations of undue influence in a contested application on the Toronto Estates List (Pizzi v. Nouini Estate, the same proceedings in which he defeated a refusals motion, 2025 ONSC 4974 ), defeating a major municipality’s summary judgment motion in a breach of contract case (AON Inc. v. Peterborough), and securing judgment for fraud, conversion, and oppression in a commercial case (Carbone v Boccia, 2025 ONSC 1966 and 2025 ONSC 2631). Daniel has also been co-lead in several commercial arbitrations. In addition, Daniel has become a stalwart of the firm’s commitment to mentorship and is a frequent go-to teacher for our students and young associates.
Adriana, Anna, and Daniel, we look forward to growing this firm with you for decades to come!
