Jacob Klugsberg is a partner at Ross Nasseri LLP. He maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on complex corporate-commercial disputes, real estate litigation, shareholder disputes, estate litigation, appellate advocacy, and public law.

Jacob is a strategic advocate and skilled negotiator, recognized for achieving practical, client-focused outcomes both inside and outside the courtroom. He brings a thoughtful, measured approach to litigation and is known for his responsiveness, clear communication, and commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Jacob regularly represents individuals, corporations, and public bodies in high-stakes matters involving contractual disputes, property-related claims, shareholder and partnership litigation, estates disputes, fraud and misrepresentation, regulatory proceedings, and professional negligence. He has also acted in high-profile parliamentary inquiries and public law cases.

He has appeared before all levels of Court, including the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Ross Nasseri, Jacob practiced for six years at McCarthy Tétrault LLP, a leading national law firm, where he advised a wide range of clients across industries and sectors.

Jacob teaches negotiation at Osgoode Hall Law School and is a contributing author to Defending Class Actions in Canada (5th ed.) and Virtual Advocacy: Litigating from a Distance (LexisNexis).

He received his JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2018, where he received the Ronald J. Rolls '58 Q.C. Prize for Civil Procedure. He also studied International Law and Arbitration on exchange at the University of Amsterdam. Prior to law school, Jacob obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University, where he graduated summa cum laude.

Jacob was called to the Ontario bar in 2019 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, the Ontario Bar Association, the Toronto Lawyers’ Association, and The Advocates’ Society
