Ross Nasseri LLP is thrilled to announce that that Jacqueline Cole has been named as the firm’s Managing Partner.
Jacqueline has been an indispensable part of Ross Nasseri LLP’s rapid growth and success since 2021. She has been the engine driving most of the firm’s core business needs including its tech and IT infrastructure, lateral recruitment, student recruitment, human resources, and mentorship. Jacqueline led the charge on a fundamental overhaul of the firm’s tech infrastructure, resulting in modernization and significant efficiencies. She has designed and led a student recruitment process for the firm annually which has resulted in the firm hiring top tier students that have and will continue to influence the firm’s growth and capacity to provide excellent service to our clients. Everyone at Ross Nasseri looks to Jacqueline for guidance on everything from firm administration to advocacy advice. She is an exemplary leader and has been instrumental not only in mentoring and guiding associates and students, but in developing the leadership abilities of our non-equity partners. She was the first partner admitted into the firm’s Equity Partnership in June of 2024, and her ascension to Managing Partner comes as no surprise to anyone who has borne witness to her remarkable leadership.
Jacqueline has made the above-noted contributions all while maintaining a full-time generalist litigation practice. Most recently, she won a complex shareholder dispute trial on the Commercial List in Shifrin v. LDF Frozen Foods (2025 ONSC 2095) and resisted an appeal in a major class action proceeding in Fehr v. Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada (2024 ONCA 847). Jacqueline is also frequently retained for highly sensitive investigations. She is a Litigation Star in Benchmark Litigation and is recognized as a top-tier advocate across various practice areas by Chambers, Best Lawyers, and Lexpert. We are proud to have Jacqueline at the helm of our firm and look forward to benefitting from her leadership for many years to come.
