Areas of Practice

Alice is an articling student at Ross Nasseri LLP.  A recent graduate of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, Alice’s interest in oral advocacy began with her first-year mooting experience and continued to grow throughout law school. She received course prizes in Wills & Estate Planning and Perspectives on Civil Litigation, Procedure & Professionalism, and competed in the Walsh Family Law Negotiation Competition, where she and her partner won Best Negotiation Plan.

During law school, Alice developed strong research and writing skills through her volunteer work with Downtown Legal Services and the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers. In her first year, she was awarded the Lenczner Slaght Advocacy Internship, which led to a summer position at the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic.

Prior to law school, Alice graduated from Queen's University with a B.A. (Honours) in Mathematics and Psychology, along with a Certificate in Law. During a gap year, she completed a parliamentary internship, where she was inspired by Senator Yonah Martin's dedication to the Korean-Canadian community. At U of T Law, Alice co-led the Korean Law Students' Association (U of T Chapter) in its first year of establishment as the Co-President and was recently awarded a scholarship from the Korean Canadian Scholarship Foundation.

Outside of school, Alice has volunteered with HanVoice, Canada’s largest North Korean human rights organization, for the past three years. She currently serves as Secretary of the HanVoice Executive Committee.
