Alex summered and articled at Ross Nasseri LLP where she supported clients in all aspects of the litigation process and appeared before the Ontario Superior Court. Alex has worked on claims involving wrongful and constructive dismissal, shareholder disputes, breach of contract, real property disputes, nuisance, and civil fraud and has earned a reputation as an innovative and dedicated advocate. In her spare time, Alex works on pro bono litigation related to access to gender affirming care.
Alex completed her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School. During her time at Osgoode, Alex was chosen to participate in the Disability Law Intensive Program at ARCH Disability Law Centre, where she contributed to several notable human rights cases. She also completed a placement with Pro Bono Students Canada at an advocacy group supporting migrant workers.
Alex graduated with First Class Honours from St. Francis Xavier University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She was Co-President of the St. FX Debating Society and a Student Advocate at the St. FX Students’ Union. Alex was an Oland Scholar and awarded the Walter Kontak Prize in Political Science.
