Justin Nasseri is invited to speak at the Advanced Administrative Law & Practice conference

We are proud to announce that our partner, Justin Nasseri, has been invited to speak at the 21^st annual Advanced Administrative Law & Practice conference this year. This two-day program (October 27-28, 2021) contains all your must-know information about developments in administrative law and practice and will include presentations form acclaimed speakers across Canada, including private and public sector lawyers and judges. Justin will be presenting on October 28 on the panel titled “Advising on Overlapping Administrative Regulatory, Civil and Criminal Processes.” His presentation will answer questions including what use can be made of a criminal conviction or acquittal in a subsequent regulatory proceeding, whether findings of fact from a civil or criminal trial can be dispositive in a regulatory proceeding, and what use can be made of evidence or decisions from regulatory proceedings in subsequent criminal or civil cases.
